“He made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.” (Jeremiah 51:15)
You are special and loved by an almighty and awesome God.
It’s hard to grasp, isn’t it? Especially if you’ve ever questioned your own worth or dealt with self-esteem issues.
You may see yourself as just a regular person, one of billions in the world. Nothing wonderful to see here, just average me.
But to our awesome God, you are anything but average.
You are not just one of billions, you are one in a billion (or seven billion, actually). You are unique and specially made.
Even if you struggle to believe it, God doesn’t. He knows exactly who you are and whose you are. You are His.
Can you imagine? This God who literally breathed life into this planet and the people on it, this God who created us all from nothing, and did it without lifting a finger—this God loves us and values us more than we can comprehend.
You and I, we are not just anybody. We are not average and unimportant. In fact, we are heirs to the throne, chosen with love and care. We have an almighty purpose commissioned by an Almighty God.
So as you go into your week, remember these truths. If something threatens to shake your sense of worth, hold them close to your heart.
How can such an awesome God care about someone like me and you? Because we are His chosen children, made extraordinary through His love and grace.
