“Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and restorer of homes.” Isaiah 58:12
How many of us struggle with rebuilding ruins in our own lives? Broken relationships with spouses and children, addictions, financial hardships. In this imperfect world, we are often faced with destruction of the things that we hold dear. And while it is not always the easiest task, God wants us to rebuild. Don’t walk away from the ruins in your life. Roll up your sleeves and prepare for hard and dirty work. But know that God is with you, and with every brick you lift to rebuild your home and your heart, he is there to lend you the strength that you need.
So don’t let fear hold you back. You can be the force of change that heals the broken pieces in your life and the lives of those you love. God is calling you to the challenge because he knows that you are up to it. And whatever you lack, he will more than make up for.
Healing starts with that very first step, no matter how small. As you start your week, consider what needs healing in your life and how you can get started. You are a rebuilder. Never doubt your abilities or power.
Have a glorious Monday!
