“No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:10-11)
Have you ever felt alone? That it was just you standing against the world, without help or protection? Or maybe what you are facing is more close to home and personal.
Life is full of hardship. Some are external, having to do with our relationships, jobs, and sickness. Others are more internal, maybe coming in the form of mental illnesses and emotional pain.
Feeling isolated can make any problem seem larger. It steals our hope and makes us feel vulnerable.
We often seek connections through friends and professionals who offer to help, but they don’t always give us exactly what we need. At the end of the day, we usually still feel lonely.
But what if you weren’t alone? What if you didn’t have to face your struggles on your own?
What if you were under the caring protection of a God who has a legion of angels ready to stand between you and harm?
You are not alone or isolated. Help is only a breath—a thought—away. God is a powerful protector, and He will stand with you all day and all night, no matter what you are going through.
So don’t be afraid, and don’t lose hope. Whatever is drawing you down today, let the strength of God and His angels lift you up. Let Him carry your burdens, stand guard over you, and give you protection and respite. Because you are precious to Him.
Have a blessed Monday!
